New Here
Hey all whats up. Im new to this site and new to cherokees really. I have owned in the past a Cj-7 i restored and a wrangler. I had an unfortunate issue at work causing me to sell my last truck....2006 Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel 4x4 on 38s and boy do i miss it. Anyhow, i figured to perfect truck to buy till i get my new diesel in october will be a cherokee as my lil sister loves them and she will be taking the one i just bought. Some info on it
1998 cherokee classic (dark green)
6cyl
4x4
130,420 miles
Extremely clean, engine bay looks brand new
$3000.00
STOCK (its hard to say)
Interested in what there is to learn about these vehicles. Im big into the outdoors and hunting/camping, and boy do i miss my truck, but in the meantime, this jeep will be perfect transportation for my work dog, being out of the heat and A/C during training and to and from work. I plan on putting a little bit of lift on it, nothing major, maybe 4.5" max, for 31s or 32s. Anyone got any tricks or tips?

Welcome. Your introduction might be moved by a moderator to the appropriate section.
There's tons of info on this Forum. Read through. Ask questions.
Once you get that jeep lifted with some 32"s you'll forget all about that dodge. Jeeps are fun as all hell and the ppl that drive jeeps are just as cool

I can def see a jeep cherokee or cj as a secondary vehicle, but nothing can replace a large displacement diesel pickup truck on some massive meats then another massive large displacement diesel on huge tires. For as much hunting as i do, with my buddies and pulling a camper or 4wheelers, a jeep will not be the correct main vehicle, but a fun as hell trail rig and round town head turner.
