Hi there,

My name is Brian I'm 27 and live in MA.

I go wheelin in NH & MA mainly with friends and a offroad club (exploring NH)

I just wanted to join a cherokee forum to read up and learn all I can about my jeep. (this one looks the best)

I recently purchased my 01 Cherokee and have been doing all I can to make it better, stronger and last longer.

I have been replacing and painting and changing things on it so far.

This is not my Daily driver and more of my offroad toy. I just sold a 96 Forb Bronco to get into this Jeep, due to the solid axle and I wanted to be a jeep guy.

I Plan on getting a good 5.5-6.5" lift Possibly Long arm.
Also re gearing the diffs with 4.56 gears and a lock right in the rear or something like that.

This will be a challenge seing how my wife is about to have our baby boy any day. Also I am about to move into a new house we just bought. haha
so money is going to be tough.

Some things I have done since I got it.

Changed all Fluids
replaced front driveshaft
fixed exhaust
replaced spark plugs
optima battery
replaced all 5 tires (old 33's where bald from to much road use)
purchased a new rear hatch in a diffrent but similar color and painted it all myself.
Repaired a ton of shady wireing from previous owner. lol
connectors all over the place also Duck tape instead of electrical tape everywhere!
also high beams and license plate light did not work when I got it.
I fixed that (wireing issue)

anyway I have a new found love for this jeep.
it has 108k miles on it and runs very strong!

I love it and i am happy to be here.

No I bought it and have been fixing it up.

Electrical issues all fixed
A few mechanical issues all fixed.
Then I painted all bumpers and armor and bed lined the armor and doors.
Also bought new tires and a fifth rim.
Also all cragar center caps.
Bought a used rear hatch and painted it nyself cause the one that came with was dented.

So I have done some work.

I plan on removing the cheap lift and getting a nice one soon. Then locking rear and gering axles.

New projects to do in my new house's garage.
