Default new guy with questions!

hey i hope to be getting a cherokee soon and have a few questions. a guy has a 1997 sport with 190k on it and the mileage worries me a bit. how much should he be asking for this vehicle if we assume its in fair-good condition?? is this thing gonna grenade soon with that mileage? thanks

I have an 87 with 260,000 on it, as long as you do regular maintanence on it should run for just about ever.As far as price gos negotiate with him.

You can always check on kelly blue book and negotiate from there. It really depends on how it was taken care of. Check the obvious when you test drive it, oil, trans. fluid, firm or slippery shifts, alignment, etc. Mine has 255,XXX

Kelly Blue Book is the standard I use for pricing. As for the mileage, that wouldn't bother me.
