Hi Guys. Name's James, and I'm from Washington. Well, after many years of having a Jeep Cherokee on my radar, I finally found exactly what I wanted, so I took it home with me. Got a 2001. with power everything. Needless to say, I was pretty happy when the stealership gave me the keys to my new ride. Aside from a couple scratches and a few small dings, the body is in great shape; no rust anywhere, and the black paint is still very shiny. Body is straight as an arrow with all panel gaps even and lining up well. It's apparent that this rig didn't see much off highway use, and judging by the street tires on it, it's not going to see much dirt until I rectify it.
Either way, thanks for providing a forum with good information specifically for these vehicles. Being completely new to Jeep, I will mostly likely be stopping by to lurk or ask questions. Thanks again!

Welcome to the cherokee forum, and nice looking jeep I might add. I wanted a limited 01 Cherokee so bad but ended up buying a 97 with a manual. Where at in washington do you live if you don't mind me asking? I live in south king county.

Thanks again. Took the Jeep out for it's first trip into the woods. It handled itself great as a gun transportation device. Got 18.35 mpg in a combination of driving highway, city, trail riding. Love it!

Thanks again guys. That's a nice looking Ramcharger. Always liked the 2wd versions. I had a buddy do the same with his: 440 backed by a 727. He installed a Dana 60 in the rear and the thing was a snot rocket. Note to self: header dumps are freaking sweet!
