Hi guys. I've had my 2001 Cherokee for about 2 years now, it was actually given to me free from a friend who got stationed in Europe (god bless him). He and his wife were only allowed to bring one of their cars and he chose to bring his wife's car instead. Like I said, I've had it for 2 years now and it's only been lately that I've had an affectionate feeling of appreciation for it. It has about 150,000 miles on it and the engine is still bulletproof.

I've been meaning to do some work on it and I stumbled upon this forum while doing some research. I've noticed a small leak on the valve cover (common problem on the 4.0L) while cleaning the engine bay and will be doing some work on it to include replacing some gaskets along the way. The gaskets aren't leaking, but I thought I'd take it up as a summer project to rejuvinate my cherokee. I'm going to document/video tape some of my work and hopefully create some sort of guide along the way and post them up here and youtube. Cheers.
