Hey guys! I'm new to Jeep ownership, so I'm happy to have found a solid resource for information. I've been reading on here all week after buying my first Cherokee last weekend.

It's a 15 year veteran of Wisconsin, so it's got it's rust. Thankfully, nothing I can tell that's gone through other than both rocker panels. I'll be stripping them out this weekend and replacing them with the XJ Rock Sliders available on this forum. Then Corrosealing the entire undercarriage.

The rear driver's side door is jammed up good. No movement. I've taken the door panel off from the inside, PB Blasted everything inside, loosened up all the working parts, and still the frame won't budge. Next, I'm going to PB Blast and Airgun the entire perimeter. If that doesn't work, I'll try blunt force solutions.

Drivetrain, transfer case, A/C, heater, electric, radio, and all power switches work without issue. Lights and signals all work without issue.

It's sat in a garage for the last two years in Houston, so it needs a battery, but other than that I've already driven it about 150 miles without issue.

Not bad, for for what I paid. My plan is to build an overland rig and I've already bought a Cascadia Mt. Shasta Pioneer RTT.

Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier, Jerries, Loops, and Hitch
Aussie Lockers Front / Rear
Cut Fenders w/ Bushwacker Style Fenders
33x12.5R16 or 17
16" or 17" Steelies
