Default New from Bay Area California

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself.

I've been into cars my whole life. Mostly drag racing, now that I'm well into my 30s with a family priorities have shifted. Currently in search of a XJ. Had my eye on one but it slipped away before I could get to it. So for the time being I'll continue lurking around the site to read up on this platform and create a stage list of what I intend to do mods wise.

Welcome to CF.

I to was in to drag racing for quite a few years until we moved to the mountains. Only thing I brought was my old drag bike ('64 XLCH) and even sold it within a few years. Got in to 4x4's. '78 Powerwagon,a lot of CJ's ('76 to '79s),a now an XJ. Good idea to get familiar with the many different stages of mods that can be had. I'm kind of glad to see a number of guys getting in to refurbing XJ's to stock condition lately.

Thank you. I wouldn’t mind a stock one to DD and can see stock ones are getting harder to find.

We go camping and use RZRs/Dirt bikes often as well as target shooting and my current vehicle doesn’t allow us to get to these spots. I’ve always loved how these looked and the simplicity of them.

Just barely. Working on getting it registered to my Uncle’s house since he’s in a smog exempt county.
