Hello all. I just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Romeo, A.K.A. Donphantasmo. I'm from Florida but I'm active duty military, so I live in New Orleans now.
I was messing around on the computer one day, and then I saw some really nice Cherokees. Also, Trucks on Spike T.V. had project Cheep Cherokee, and I was very very blown away by how nice the project was, it's capability for the price is incredible. So, I was like, what the hell... I have some money in the bank, lemme buy a cherokee. I'm currently talking to a guy about one, but if anyone knows of a decent recent cherokee (96+) 4x4, lemme know.
Well, lemme know what's up. I'm getting more excited every day. Wish me luck...

Welcome from WV! Check craigslist.com for some good deals on Cherokees. And don't rule out the pre-97s. Slightly less appealing in the creature comfort department, but a just as capable (if not more-so) platform for a trail rig. Good luck with the search!
