My XJ is frowned upon by most. But it's been in my family for 11 years, I learned to drive in it, and it's been a good loyal friend. Since I really want an American sedan that has adequate power, stick and rwd, this is as close as I'll get and I'm building it accordingly. Living in S. Florida doesnt quite promote an offroad lifestyle, but we'll get there one day, when I have a Jeep farm with multiple Jeeps built for different goals.

97 4dr 2wd 5spd SE. ~200k on the unibody. Exciting stuff. Ive installed Addco sway bars front and rear, KJ 16" rims, cruise control, APN header, 99 intake, ZJ rear view mirror and lowered the front to match the sagging 14 year old rear.
Im in the process of rebuilding a 4.6 for it, it has a 8.25 from an auto so it has 3.55 gears. It's peppy to say the least.
Current plans are power interior (thanks cash for clunkers), install an overhead console (again, C4C), WJ brakes up front, ZJ disks in back (the junkyards were good to me) Newer seats and carpet, Z34 hood vents with drip trays, 255/55/16's and various restoration projects. Some of it may be overkill, but it's the better, modernized Jeep I want right now.

Jeep Farm will include, but not limited to:
at least 2 MJ's - an offroad oriented and a turbo stroker drag truck with the 97 body work. I had one for a few months, but sadly could not dump money into like I wanted. It has moved on.
a pre 97 exploration rig. Something to take me a little further than I want to go.

And for fun:

So that's my Jeep for now, I hope it doesnt offend too much, Im making the best of a situation with it. I promise to rescue as many jeeps as possible and take them into the woods where they belong.
