Well, Im new to the Jeep thing. I got my 1991 Cherokee Laredo FREE from my younger sister. 200,400 mile bone stock 4.0L, 5 speed, NP231 T case I believe, Dana 30 front, Dana 35 rear power everything. So far, new stock replacement shocks, steering stabilizer (hoping to fix the "death wobble"), new front sway bar(origional looked like it was run up on a stump and bent), oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, and new Kumho all terrain tires. All told, I have about $700 wrapped up in it. I plan on dumping the Dana 30 and 35 axles in favor of a set of 44s. 3 to 4.5 lift. 4.7L stroker, and of course the usual winch bumper out front and the tire carrier bumper out back. Not looking to rock crawl, more into getting dirty. So if anyone knows a good place to wheel a stock (for now) Cherokee in South Georgia, let me know, Im looking for an excuse to break something........
