MA - 00 Jeep XJ - looking to add lift and tires

Hi - looking to lift my daily driver 3-4.5 to run 32 or 33's.

I have been getting some quotes from local shops and it's super expensive.

I'd love some feedback on what some folks have done in the New England area to get this type of project completed.

Thanks!

Welcome. Do you have any experience? First offroad vehicle? What lifts you looking into?

I'd consider myself a noob for sure. I've had a XJ with a 3inch rusty' add a leaf from high school that had some serious death wobble.

Looking to do it right this time. Got some quotes for an old man emu kit but it's like 4K for kit / tires / install.

It's a daily driver so I would say 80% of the time I'll be on the high way so I need to take that into consideration.

You can install it yourself with basic tools for free. If you want 32s or 33s you'll need to regear as well and that's another 1k. 2 inch old man emu lift?

1.5 in the front and 3 in the back.

I would love to tackle this in my garage at home but know I don't have the tools.

A jack, Jack stands, and some sockets are cheaper then what they'll charge you for installation man haha. That's literally all you need if your jeep isn't a rust bucket.
