Looking at my first Cherokee Sport!
What's up forum guys!
I currently own a 2003 Audi A4 and I'm very active on those forums. I'm looking at a 4/awd suv for my wife for her first winter here in CO and I came across this ad on craigslist. I've never owned a suv before, but I'm a mechanic at a local shop, so I'm familiar. Just wondering what kinds of things I should look out for when I check it out on thursday? I really want to get a jeep and this seems like a viable option. All I know that's not on the site is that he's owned it for 14mo and only had to replace crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor (at the sametime) but they've been in there for 2mo with no issues. Also, he's selling because he wants to get a WRX.
I'll be doing some more of my own research when I get home from work, just wanted to pick the guru's brains on here so I can do more of the productive research and save the technical **** for if/when I actually buy it.
Thanks in advance!
Rory

D@@@@mn. This sucks. I thought I had a good lead here. Kbb puts it at $4400, but people are selling em like hotcakes for more. I'm torn. Guess I'll have to look at it in person. What are some common issues I should look out for?
Btw, thanks for the input so far.

If you don't mind driving just a little, it looks like you can get better deals in the Denver and Co Springs areas. Maybe a little less risk of flood damage right now. Here's a couple I found to help you compare.
