Just bought my first Jeep, 2001 XJ Sport.
 

Brand spanky newbie to the Jeep world. My Corolla finally gave up the ghost (at 300k + miles) so, instead of going practical (like I usually do). I picked up this slightly used and modfied 2001 XJ.

She's old and been run a lot of miles (226k) but, very little rust, even the inspection station noticed how little rust she's got under her skirt.

Not bad for 2 grand...

All ball joints need replaced, right front spindle is loose a bit, the rear brakes need the correct size drums, backup lights need troubleshot (not coming on), the hand brake needs adjusted and I need to find a pair of stock tires/rims for the front cause the ones on it now stick out too far past the fender for the inspection but, other than that, she's in pretty good condition (oh, and the headliner sags too!)

Engine is pretty solid, gonna change fluids on her when the weather warms up a couple degrees (no garage here).

She also has a 3" lift... Didn't think the ride would be so different from my last vehicle, just take some getting used to I guess..

Anyway, just thought i'd poke my head in and say hello...
