Hey there cf!
I have long been a fan of the xj, and finally purchased a new to me 99 back in 2013. It is my second jeep, the first being a 2001 tj hardtop that I sold the year before. I loved it, but it didn't fit my family and of course I needed the money.
Anyway, I picked up my gold 99 back from Craigslist for a song. High miles and everything wrong with it that goes wrong with these guys it seems, but alas, it runs and I am an xj jeep fanatic and am willing to sacrifice a good deal of sanity and cash to put up with the inevitable hiccups.
My goal for my jeep is simply a capable bad *** daily driver. It can be totally overbuilt mall-crawler but it needs to function on moderate trails. Beating her up is not my thing. I will post pics when I can, but figured I should say hi for those of you who read the intros.
