Default introducing myself

Hello everybody new to forum. I don't own a jeep yet doing some research first. Don't know what year/model to get. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any comments.

Thanks warthog I'm definitly leaning toward 90-98 model cherokee. Love to have 80's model comanche. Really like to have an A10 Thunderbolt (Warthog), but don't have anywhere to park it!

Welcome to CF. You will find as many differing opinions on which year to buy as there are members on the forum. I have had a 90, 3 87s a, 92 and a 96. I also have an 89 MJ. The best years in my opinion are the pre-OBD years or as we call them the REnix years 87-90. They are easy to work on and you get to make your own diagnosis without a computer spitting codes at you that still need to be interpreted. But that is just my opinion and I am an old fart.
