Default Introducing myself!

Hello there. New to the forum. Just bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4dr. 4.0l , 4x4, automatic for my daughter. We will be building this jeep up together! Should be lots of fun.

sorry for the delay. Usually lots of people on the forum check and greet our new members.... Sounds like you'll have some fun ahead of you. First thing I would suggest you check is the head casting to see what you have. Biggest issue on the '00 model year 4.0's was the heads warping and cracking. Fortunately if yours has not, there are several fairly low cost solid aftermarket heads available for it. You definitely want to check that before it does go. Because it would be much more than a head if it cracks and turns your motor into a milkshake (and not the good kind).
Just a friendly FYI
Poke around on here. lots of info.
