Intro.

Just wanted to introduce myself, a super noob to xj’s I just bought a 1999 XJ with 168k miles. Great frame. Typical rust. If anyone can lead me in right direction to get this puppy to ok truck to badass truck that would be appreciated.

Lots of rust mitigation threads around. Probably best to check the floors since I am sure you are going to have some work to do.

For the rockers, alot of people cut out the rocker and weld in some steel 2x6's to also double as rock sliders. Everything else - either cut out of a donor vehicle or fab from sheet-metal

Hope you have 220v in the garage (I don't) :(
