Howdy from the shores of Lake Simcoe.
JustBear here, and yes, it is just Bear. Bear is my name, lol. I'm a welder/fabricator, by trade. I haven't got a jeep in the livery at the moment, I'm still hunting for one that meets my needs and high standards, for a price my wife says I can afford.
The last one I built was an 89 Pioneer I rescued from a wrecker. I dropped a 2" home brew lift, 31's (tires and rims I swapped off a buddies Jeep. I'll never go aluminum again) with custom bumpers front and rear, that I built myself.
At that time I only used it to for ruff logging roads around the cottage. To get to some prime fishing grounds. Then I bought an F 150 and sold her. I kick myself now.
This time I'm looking to go 4.5 long arm, leaning to RC for the price. With a winch and I'll fab my own bumpers, roof rack and mods. I do a lot of hunting and fishing deep in the woods of Ontario's plethora of Crown land, so I need to build a rig that can take a little abuse, not really a rock crawler or mud slinger.
I've been lurking for a bit and some of your rigs are awesome. To say I was jealous would be an understatement. But more importantly, you have a neat online community here that's informative, friendly and inviting, that's not easy to achieve and maintain. I've been an Admin and Mod on my own sites, so I speak from experience.
Anyways, keep up the good work, I've learned more then I thought I would, in just a few short days of going through the threads.
This was my last Jeep (The boys are mine too, I still have them, they only got bigger, lol), I hope my next one is much better...

Thanx guys.
I'm still reading and watching the builds that are on going. Getting lots of ideas and having ideas I had changed in the process.
