Hi from Nevada
I just picked up an 89 Cherokee today. It will be my daughters. It's an 89 that was basically given to us(Owner asked for 150$ if the only problem is the alternator, nothing if it's more). Has 120, 000 on the OD. Was told it might have an electrical problem because the owner smelled electrical burning. The battery was dead. Changed the battery out and she fires right up but It's running about 9-11 on the interior gauge. I think it needs a new alternator. It has a very nice interior. Can't hardly tell it's been used. No stains or rips on any of the seats. Now it's just learning about this little rig and getting it running right.
