Jeep Cherokee Forum - Hi im new to Jeeps

Hey the name is Thomas, I just purchased my first jeep yesterday its a 1990 Cherokee, its all stock has power everything, its a 4.0L auto. So far I love it, I didnt know jeeps were so comfortable and fun to drive. So I do have plans to lift it and do have plans to wheel it on the weekends when I can. But for now I just wanna get like a locker in the rear at the very least get some armor, ( sliders, bumpers and maybe re enforce the unibody. ) Also put some mud tires on it maybe a lil taller and if I can a lil wider. Anyways just a lil background I been into trucks and wheeling since I was a freshman in high school, I have always been in to the outdoors and what not. Im a avid hunter and been hunting since I was 5 years old with my dad. I really got into trucks when my dad picked up his 3rd gen toyota a 89 pickup that was lifted. Since then I been into toyotas heavily and got into wheeling on and off since then. I currently own a 81 bronco ( FOR SALE ) and a 89 Nissan 240sx which is my drift car. SO I def have a project on my hands with the drift car. But I none the less will be makin my jeep a formidable lil daily / weekend trail getter over the next few years. Any suggestions on lockers/ ways to do a cheap slight lift and or good tires for decent price let me know.
