Default Hi from Iceland

My name is Jakob and a resident of Iceland. I am working on my second XJ project. My current XJ is a 1993 Limited version with only 60K miles on it. I bought this XJ from an advertisement I came across from the other side of the island. I did some research on itīs history and decide to buy it for a very reasonable price. So fare, i have bought new rims (got them used (American Racing) and four brand new 31" Dura Trac tires and they look real fine on the XJ. Replaced the ugly amber lights in the front with clear Euro lights. Minor paint and body repairs are pending and the 2" lift will be commenced next week. I will install a block lift and add one blade on each side of the rear suspensions. The front lift will be by a standard Rustyīs kit lift. I will post some photos when I am done.

Talking Good lookin"

Got a '90 xj that has has the entire front end rebuilt and is in the process of getting an alternator upgrade. I call it AubreyIII after the Little Shop of Horrors star Aubrey II ( the alien plant that ate blood) AIII not only eats blood ( my knuckles are proof) but cubic money. Sheesh who would know a 22 yr old xj would need so many new parts. Oh well. Jeep stands for J ust E mpty E very P pocket. OBTW I'll trade a jar of some REAL home made southwest salsa for some of your local fare. I'm always up to new challenges!!!

Hey Jakob, Welcome to CF. That's a great looking low mileage Jeep you found. Congrats on the purchase.
