Hi to all from Levittown Pa.
We'll all these years later finally got a Jeep. All ready spending money like a drunken sailor.
Picked it up Sunday 1pm
Bone stock well cared for 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 door loaded
PS, PDL little moody, PW, Cruise that works, tilt steering, 4wd.
Mileage: 176027
Color: Deep Amethyst Pearl Coat always thought this color was cool
4.0 with new head gasket installed by previous owner August of 2013
So I should be good for a while.
Automatic I have no idea model trans or case or diffs. If someone could throw some light on that would be great. Transfer has 2 hi, 4hi,4 lo.
Does have the tow package looks be be factory trans cooler and electric fan cooler or maybe electric fan is for the A/C it works off toggle switch on dash guess the thermo switch got by passed at some point
1st on list:
Run rough
Full tune up on list (ordered the accel complete tune kit TST16 with plugs and accel new coil)
Serpentine Belt is screaming time to change out and tighten properly.
Oil change service
Trans drop and fill
New Jet thermostat 180 and feel pro Gasket and radiator flush.
2.
New exhaust front pipe to tail 2.5 inch all the way through with dynamax super turbo , high flo dynamax cat. Pipes will be made down street at exhaust shop.
3.
Once running popping off semi rusty from silver paint chipped off steelies getting them media blasted all 6 rims paint cast blast gray with new chrome jeep hub cap centers. Full detail inside out interior but it's in surprisingly great shape.
4. Spring Project:

I just bought tonight on sale 139.95 usually 189.95 am I aloud to say that part?
General Grabbers AT2 31x10.50x15 on the factory steelies
Body armor front, rear safari roof rack lights and strobe led emergency lighting for fowl weather and a really good CB recommendations welcomed for model for the vehicle.
As a small note this car is from VA. When I crawled under to check for leaks dry thank God. I noticed not a spot of rust underneath.floor pan control arm bolt look like it rolled of show room.
The only rust is what I think is the original exhaust on vehicle
There's the plan will go one of two ways divorce by summer or the wife and daughter will love the XJ so much dad will have by himself another one to build for dad.
Any input will be greatly welcomed.

Welcome! Southern PA here (York). Got any pics of this rig?
Also, if you find any rust on the floor pans, get it taken care of ASAP. PennDot will eat your floorboards for a winter snack.
