Thumbs up Hey from Rochester MN

Hi all, just a quick introduction and thank you. I've been reading posts here nonstop since I bought my jeep (stock 1987 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer 4.0) for $595 in an online charity car auction. I was happy to discover that it was a one-owner college prof's vehicle with 173xxx miles and regular maintenance until he parked it.

Anyways, I'm new to this game (I'm usually rebuilding computers in my spare time -- never suspensions) and just wanted to post some pics of my new toy. I'm putting together a list of to-dos and trying to prioritize my investments. Maybe a 3" with 31's in the future..

This vehicle gave me two good death wobble scares when I was limping home with it from the twin cities (radiator leak). The front shocks are shot - one little bump gives me five good bounces. I'd never heard of dw before... holy crap i know about it now.

Anyways, looking forward to reading every post on this board and seeing all your great pics and ideas.

I've also posted some pics of maintenance records because it's pretty interesting to see what has been done when (if you can make out the writing). If anything jumps out at you please tell me about it. Thanks! - Mark

Not sure how to clean these up - they have some sort of clear coat that's peeling off. But that's low priority at this point - suspension before beauty

No rust holes but the previous owner painted over the surface rust without sanding or priming. It's a MN vehicle and it's 20 years old - so not bad!

Interesting to see what was done when (sorry if you can't read it) - also the last shot shows what they did to try to fix the death wobble back in 99

There's no such thing as too many pics on this site.
