Default Hey fellow jeepers!

Just wanted so say hello to my fellow XJers's out there. I recently acquired my XJ from my soon to be stepson. He just didn't like it, now after 6 months and many changes along with a good cleaning and some TLC guess what....he would love to have it back! HELL NO LOL! I can say that these jeeps are some of the most capable 4x4's I've ever had the pleasure of driving.

1st. stock suspension-p215/75r15 michelin x radial dt
2nd. stock suspension-p225/75r15 michelin x radial LT
3rd. stock suspension-30x9.50r15 bfg AT KO
4th. 3.5" Full Traction-32x11.50 bfg KM rock krawler 15x7 4.5bs
B&M Tranny cooler installed
K&N drop in filter
flowmaster 40 with 2.5 repipe from catback
yakima load warrior with extension
all factory audio removed for pioneer/xm/ipod rockford 6.5's all around
class 3 hitch installed

All within the 6 months i've had it....i've been bitten by the bug!

next i've got some yukon 4.10's waiting to go in...i'm debating on whether I will tackle this or just bite the bullet and have them done.
also debating on the SYE...i've got very little vibes but I know this is the thing to do if I am to continue onward and upward. Any suggestions are welcome as I've seen some kick *** xj's on this forum.

welcome to the forum. sounds like a nice xj, put up some pics.

about the gears, its not a good job for a diy thats not experienced in gears. i'm a mechanic, and i have about 2 grand in special tools to set up gears. and just because someone is a mechanic, doesn't mean they know how, or have the tools to set up gears. find a good shop that has experience in gears. and anyone you call will say they can do it, so its not easy. good luck.

Here's a few shots...thanks for the input...yeah i agree with you on the whole special tool situation...what do you think is a ballpark price for an install for gears?
