Welcome to CF Spencer! This is Danny from Tenn.. Unless you like welding avoid floor-board rust. Unless you like rebuilding/swapping engines remove the dipstick while it's running and look for smoke & feel for blow-by pushing out the tube. Other than that, get the best Jeep you can afford and don't be in a rush. Many people have bought what they thought was a heck of a deal then get it home and it's a turd. The next week Bang a much better vehicle comes along. Patience and Persistence!

Welcome to CF. Some good advice above. It will be in your best interest to look at several before settling on a particular one. Your financial expectations may be a little low but you are right, good deals have been found for that low of a price.

Hey everyone thanks for the warm welcome.
Ya ive been out looking already at some cherokee's and ive found a couple of deals i though to be good and then i test drive em and one of em an axle was bent, other one there was a knock at cold start but went away when warm (it was a manual so i figuered someone over revved it and burned a valve) but ya im just keeping my eyes open for them. Until then im just admiring all ya'lls rides =D
Once again thanks for the warm welcomes.
this site is a lbrary of information for me!
