hello everyone. My name is jeff and am from oak hill, wv. My mother has offered to give me her 96 grand cherokee laredo for a long time now because she never drives it. So, I have finally decided that it would be better for it to at least be driven instead of sitting in her driveway. It is all stock and has around 160xxx miles on it. It is a 318 and runs very good. I used it about 4 years ago to go back and forth to work which was about 95 miles each way. The axles are the only thing that has been replaced that i know of. It has been very well taken care of. I know it has a noise in the back like the spare tire is wiggling but its not. Someone to me it is the shims in the rear. I figured i would get on this forum and meet some good people and learn about jeeps. I also have a 93 z28 6 speed and a 2006 cobalt ss and am on those forums as well. Well, thanks a lot if there are any issues on a 96 laredo that you know of, let me know and any tips would be helpful too. I plan to lift it and put duals on it. Thanks.
