Hello,
My name is Jay Cataldo, I have a '93 Cherokee Sport that I got as a hand me down 3 years ago from my father when he purchased a '06 Wrangler Unlimited. My father bought it brand new in '92.
The Jeep is still rolling on the badly beaten stock suspension in the rear, much of the front end was replaced after an offroading incident. I have a Hedman header down through 2 1/4 exhaust crosses across the bottom of the motor (Stock location) stepped up to 2 1/2 into a Dynomax Race Jet Muffler and dumped 3". I built the exhaust largely as an experiment to see what it would do. (I used to build exhaust systems at a Smog and Muffler Shop). Now over at Enterprise Rent a Car. MSD coil and wires as well as an MSD box, I used to work at my Uncle's Speed and Marine Shop when I started College. Stock Intake and filter..
Its served us extremely well for these years. We've 209 thousand on the clock, although at 198,000 the flex plate broke up so I pulled the 4.0 and got an ATK 4.0. It has been rear ended twice last time was a few months ago when i lent it to my father when I was working on his Jeep. A lady plowed into it at ~35mph. I pulled it strait and we're back on the road.
I have a '73 Camaro that I drive daily, I got the Camaro in July of '04 and built that up. The new project is a '27 Dodge Brothers Coupe, a traditional Hot Rod. I am running a 324 Olds Rocket in that.
