Default Hello from PA!! Just wanted to introduce myself:)

Hey fellow XJ Jeepers,
Soooo I finally decided to sign up on the forum and thought I would introduce myself and my rig. I'm a 20-something accountant who doesn't do any off-roading (yet!) but loves Jeeps and I've owned my XJ for 4 years as of this month (I'm the second owner). When I found my XJ it was a one owner '97 with the Up-Country package and ZERO rust! From what I can tell it was sold new here in PA then spent most of its life in NY state, somehow avoiding salt rot presumably due to having been garage kept. My overall goal with the Jeep has been to keep it mostly original and stock-looking as I enjoy driving it and don't want to ruin the ride quality or reliability inherent in these XJ's.

More recently I was involved in a car accident last Fall and to make a long story short my insurance declared the Jeep a total loss. I bought it back, and had a shop realign the Pass. FR fender bulkhead. Being as the radiator was damaged in the crash, over the winter months I then purchased and installed a new radiator, coolant hoses, water pump and thermostat to fully refresh the cooling system. Then I purchased a new fender, bumper cap, bumper, header panel, grille insert, and headlight bezel, and once painted I reassembled the Legos. My Jeep then passed the required PA enhanced safety inspection with flying colors and she was released back on the road again 7mo to the day after the accident.

And finally, I did what I've always wanted to do and had 31" Falken Wildpeak A/T's installed on my Craigslist-sourced TJ Rubi rims along with the necessary Rubicon Express 2" budget lift to fit the larger rubber. Could not be happier with the results! If you live in PA and need suspension work performed check out Mount Zion Offroad as they have taken good care of me.

Well that's me and my Jeep in a nutshell and I am excited to building friendships on here and gaining lots of good info and stories from you all!

Regards!!
