Default Hello from the motor city!!!!
Hey all. I'm Scott.... I'm from the west side of metro Detroit. As you can tell from my avitar, I work for Detroit Diesel. I have a 2000 Xj that my parents gave me (HECK YAH!!!) a few years ago that I am starting to build up and eventially my lovely will take as her "mom bomb" and I will build another one for myself. What can I say....the wife wants it up in the air for deer season and what-not...(I'm a lucky guy!!!)

I'm a tech head too the tee and look forward to sharing some good tips and info with everyone!!!!!

Hi, welcome to the forum! Cool, I work for Nanni Diesel, we build marine engines for Toyota, Kubota, MAN, Mercedes, Doosan and VM motori. Nice to find someone in the branch.

Welcome to CF from COS!!


I did a lot of learning/work on the Detroit 371, & 671 diesel engines in school. Cool old engines, and pretty easy to work on!!
