Hello from France
I'm Pierre-Jean from france. I own an '91 XJ and me wife a 2002 Liberty 2.5 CRD.
The little story of my Cherokee: I bought it 10 years ago as a 2 doors 2.1L diesel (A French version with a Renault engine). The car was in not so good condition, but at a great price. I first add 2.5" spacers and is was ok.
But the French "controle technique" (A "check" of the vehicle we have to do every 2 years) said the front axle was bent, the level of pollution was to high (well, I tuned a bit the engine...), to many gap (?) in the steering box....
So I decided to buy a 4.0L who have rolled over. So I rebuild my Cherokee with the front & read axle, engine+gearbox and wiring harness from the 4.0L.
Then I add 31x10.5x15 tires, a winch I bought on Ebay, a 5.5" lift kit, longer arms and pitman.
But the body is a bit rusty and I would like to add 33" tires, so I will rework it...
