Well, I just became a proud owner of a 1990 Cherokee... I'm new to Jeeps, but the learning has already begun! I stumbled across this site while trying to do a brake job (next post after this one is where the questions begin, lol). I've had it for two weeks, and I think I like it! I have no idea about the wheeling...YET! Still working on the Jeep, fixin' all the little things I find. When I was younger, used to go out in the middle of nowhere with my grandparents in my grandfather's 1945 ****** jeep. This was out on the Western Slope, Grand Junction/Montrose area where they lived. From what I recall, there was lots of good places to wander off the beaten path... Keep in mind, this was 20+ years ago, however. I haven't been over there in ages, but if I get my Cherokee in shape, it'll be on my agenda, definitely!
