Just joined and wanted to say hello. I bought my first (an '88 Cherokee XJ) about a month ago. I had to sell my 4x4 GMC pickup first, but wanted the
4x4 for the occasional ice and snow. Don't really do a lot of hard core off-roading, just like to go through the mud instead of around it (shortest route is a straight line, right?) Since I've bought my project, I've replaced the front and back seats, carpet and front bumper. It goes for a new paint job next week. It came with a 3 or 4 inch lift, which I like, but the jack is bolted to the hood. Think eventually I'll get a roof rack for the jack and spare tire. Also looking to add an aftermarket front bumper/brush guard, winch, and new stereo system (nothing too loud!). I bought this mainly to scoot around town, haul the kayak to the lake or river, or get closer to the wildlife. Any suggestions or ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks
