Chris here, picked up a 19' Cherokee TH KL a few weeks back. Did some mild off-roading at Buffalo Pass a couple weekends ago and attempted Santa Fe peak trail in Montezuma, CO today. Ended up throwing a code on way up, not the best way to get onto the forum lol. Pretty confident it's the tranny, after engaging into 4L RPMs go up to about 2-3k before any movement occurs, then the whole Jeep lurches forward.. Code was for 2nd gear incorrect ratio, hopefully I can get her in under warranty soon, she's drivable on the street, but under load of 4L is when I feel the issue. Anyways, live in Denver, definitely would like to find others to do some trails with. Not 100% comfortable doing harder trails myself. Plan to put on a 2" lift over the winter.
