Hello from across the pond
Hi from the sunny south coast of England. I have a 96 XJ 4.0 HO Sport, RHD of course. It's my 2nd XJ, and has been my daily driver for the last 9 years. Stock apart from 235 BFG A/T's.
I've been thinking of trading up to a WJ, but I'm just a bit too attached to my ol' XJ.
Any other Limeys on this forum?

Laughable really. We get a couple of inches of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt. Roads, buses, trains, planes, even the Tube (London Underground). I was the only one that made it into work on Monday, apart from a few that live within walking distance. We get snow so rarely that people are frightened of it.
This was the scene on the A3 - a major route into London. Can you see any snowploughs? No! The Local Highway Authorities de-commissioned them because of global warming!

LOL, ya I was chatting with a friend in Amberdean(SP?) and she was complaining about having to drive her little car to the store... LOL
She stopped when I sent her the photo of my XJ up to its doors in snow...
Time to throw a small plow on and start charging people to plow them out!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
No, I don't follow rugby or football. I'm into musclecars (I have a 70 Dodge Coronet R/T), NASCAR, skiing, and horses.

Hi Brian. I've had a few American cars over the years, 55 Chevy, 66 Mustang, 68 Roadrunner. I currently have a 07 Mustang GT too. I tend to keep them a long time and spend far too much money on them.
The Coronet is one of only 2 R/T's in the UK. It was imported in 1980, and I had my eye on it for a while before I finally got the opportunity to acquire it in 1998. Actually I swapped it for my '55. The R/T is probably worth more back in the States than here, but I don't plan to sell it any time soon. Musclecars are a very narrow niche market over here. If you're interested in more details, I made a page about it at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/267096
Cheers
Adam
