Hello, I'm looking into buying a 1991 Jeep Cherokee 4x4, very nice condition found it in a towing yard, runs and drives, the yard person said I can get it for about $200 dollars!!! It is completely stock, but the guy said there is a serious problem but it seems to run and drive fine. Is there anything to look for???

I say pick it over for a few hours.
Make a list of what needs to be done, and a list of what you want to do,and see if it's something you wanna get yourself into.Mileage is pretty average, seeing as you're in CA you have to smog it.Most likely a $200 Jeep won't smog without work, so that is something to consider.
Since it's at a towing yard, it may have a salvage title now.Not sure how that works.
Bottom line is, for $200 she's gonna need some TLC, to say the least.

I'm going to check on the title, it might not be, because it was brought to them by the owner, to get rid of, so it wasn't affiliated with the towing yard, they were just going to take it to pick and pull but there isn't even a check engine light on runs smooth as can be!!!
