Default Hay there from across the Atlantic from Wales, United Kingdom!

Thought it about time I actually signed up as seen as I do in fact actually have a CherokeeForum decal on my rear window! Haha

Ok so my name is Rhys, 24 year old guy from Wales in the UK into off road and performance Honda Civics, self taught mechanic. I basically picked up my Cherokee just recently after the gearbox on my Discovery off roader died, I parked it up, left it for now and decided to go for a 4.0 Cherokee as their a #1 favourite of mine along with a Defender 110! Cherokee won out this time round!

Searched for a nice one as most of them over here are high milers or battered tow vehicles - I found one special one that had just 70,000 miles with full Jeep service history and never been used for towing and bought it straight away for £700 GBP!! Top Deal!

After 4 days of ownership its easily the best truck I've ever owned! Amazing place to be inside! Seriously love the thing, can't wait to get upgrading and sorting out the lift parts!

Only thing to fix is a stuck front brake caliper where it wasn't used for a long time. So gunna replace them with new and fit some performance discs and pads while I'm at it.

The Cherokee in its current form until mods start....

Thanks mate! I'm real happy with my XJ, love it, literally!

And roughly $1,200 USD i think or so, over here thats very cheap though as they hold their price here quite well as theres not THAT many around their one of the more less common trucks here! I'm real happy though!

Thanks fella's

Will be removing the chrome bull bar as well asap as it ruins these XJ's in my opinion.

Hopefully getting the ball rolling this week with upgrades.

Soon to follow:
15x8 ET0 Modulars with 235/75/15 tyres (BFG KM2 remoulds)

Custom full length safari rack with twin jerry can holder, hi lift mount...etc

Front winch bumper and mounting plates

Safari snorkel

Closely behind those will be some diff guards from over there in the states, a decent winch, decent exhaust system....etc

None really mate, as long as the tyres are covered by arch extensions as they wont MOT it otherwise, but I have yet to see cops pull anyone really.

You'd be surprised the trucks we have here everything from your American Chevy's, Ford F150's, Broncos and stuff to massive Hi luxes and Toyota Land cruiser and Nissan Patrols right the way through to Jeep and Land Rover (obviously being British lol) .....and the odd unimog.

Lots of off road clubs and events here too and winch challenge....etc

BUT we dont have the space you guys have, cant just go and off road anywhere like you could used to
