Default HammaDownMotorsorts from Denver Colorado

hello everyone
just thought i would post in the newbie corner
my name is Andy and i registered because my girlfriend just bought a 94 XJ 4.0l high output, it has a 3 to 4 inch lift and 32" bfg muds (not pictured), it has TNT customs frame rail support and skid plate

on with pictures ey?

the first things do list
-oil change
-brake flush
-coolent flush
-trans flush with B&M TRICK SHIFT
- find out why the air filter was soaked in motor oil
-rebuild front axle (drivers u-joint is toast!)
-rebuild rear axle maybe ford 8.8 swap (out of my ranger that im doing a fw SAS on) because there is poping sounds coming from it only in reverse
- paint it
- and maybe a RE long arm kit for her birthday

thanks guys
-Andy

Ranger 8.8" axles are 28 spline. Get one from an Explorer.

yeah i did the explorer axle swap on my ranger but wen the 4:10 failed (sheered 6 teeth off the ring gear due to improper ware). i allready have 4:56 gears i just need to buy an install kit and new carrier or locker (the old carrier has a broken center pin retainer bolt and will have to cut it to get it out..) get them set up..

-OR-

should i replace the lsd and spider gears in the 8.25 because its locked up and it feels like the axles are going to snapp

i would like to put the 8.8 in for the brakes and strength but i also want to go the cheapest rout because im not gonna be driving it as my DD its my girls...

what do you guys suggest? which rout would you take i want the thing to be dependable and stand up to what ever she gets her self in to.... plus she wants 35s so thats why im thinking disk would be good...

any ways thanks
Andy
