Greetings from Liverpool
Greetings to all from Liverpool, England!
I bought my '96 XJ ltd a couple of weeks ago on eBay - with a few minutes left on the auction and having never even considered one before! In fact, as they're not as popular here in the UK as the US and Europe, this was the first time i'd had a real good look at one! I'd actually been looking for a Rover 75 / MGZT for a few months but just couldn't get a Tourer which fit the bill. I saw this XJ with LPG needing a SHEDLOAD of work doing and before i knew it i'd bought her on a whim... Now i couldn't be happier! I'm no stranger to working on cars - have never paid for a repair in all my life but i'm still learning - always learning. My last car i rescued too - a Bedford Rascal - and i must say this XJ reminds me of it in a lot of ways - just MUCH bigger!
So with lots to do i'm looking forward to talking with you all on this fine forum. Cheers!
