Greetings fellow XJs! New to the site...
Hi all! I recently found a pearl and I'm very excited to be a new Jeep owner. This is my first Jeep of any kind and just so happens to be a dream car from my youth. 26 years old, one owner, garage kept.
She's completely unmolested and certainly pristine, but needs attention to some of the basics so I can keep her that way.
Any guidance is appreciated as I'm new to the forum thing. Cheers! - Captain https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...d8bec5f613.jpg |
Welcome, clean XJ man, congrats!
On the AC issue, check the switch, and the blower resistor. Thats the usual culprits on our fan problems. |
Welcome to the site and to XJ ownership Captain143 !

I am no expert at all but my opinion is that the first thing you should do is put some nice wheels on there, not necessarily lifted, mine isnt, but big wheels!
BTW Congrats, I was very excited to get mine as well, yours is in good shape too. |
New shoes are definitely in my near future. Found out the other day that the current ones are nearly 12 years old. (garage kept)
I plan to go a touch more aggressive with raised white lettering. |
Man you can never find xjs this clean anymore honestly. If so it might as well be a unicorn lol

Real nice truck, finding one that was garage kept is the key. The rubber and plastic are not eaten alive by the sun over 20+ years.
