Default Greetings from the 403

Thought I'd introduce myself im from Alberta Canada and have been into jeeps since 1998 when i bought my 1st jeep a 98 TJ Wrangler 2.5L shes been around the block and back and has some 495,000 Km on the clock have rebuilt the engine once and she still runs like a top! Its served its purpose as a Daily Driver and as a Offroad Warrior where shes been put through hell and back on many occasions. we also have a few other jeeps 97 Cherokee (XJ) non running project on hold, a 95 Grand Cherokee (ZJ) currently being parted out, 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) & a 2003 Liberty (KJ) yes we have a few jeeps....

My last recent finished project was doing the Heater core replacemnt on the 2000 WJ as we got a really good deal on this jeep as the repair from the dealer or local mechanic was over $1500 on the low end.. we ended up doing it ourself for just over $250 changing the Condenser/Heater core/resistors and blower motor. and she runs like a top now. we did it in just under 12 hours start to finish.

Now we are currently in the process of setting up some DVD Head rests in the rear of the jeep to keep the kids occupied on long road trips around Alberta and BC. we had some trouble matching the color of the WJ's Seats they didnt carry any smoked grey color so had to settle for black as the best match. better than the Grey color we had.

looking forward to getting to know members around here and sharing projects related to the jeeps we have, and receiving/giving feedback and advice.

Here is another project I'm plugging away at. Trying to freshen up my toy I've had for 18 + years. Installed a new hood and grill. Still need to install turn signals into the grill and marker lights on what's left of the hacked fenders. I was planning on installing some tube fenders but the opportunity to upgrade my axles presented it's self and I decided to invest my money into buying new axles to build up for a stronger unit. I'll just have to run the Jeep for this summer season with the hacked fenders while I build my axles. Will be swapping kut the dana 30/35 for a set of d44.

B4 and after

Here are some pictures of my refreshed interior. Lined bed, early ZJ seats installed.

Also got a few mini projects done on our WJ & KJ this last week. I wanted some more privacy and comfort with both Jeeps so we did a mild tint on the front windows. Came out really nice and I haven't tinted windows in over 5 years.

Here is the 2000 WJ

2003 KJ
