Former Jeep Guy Un Assimilated
What is happening all!
I figured I would join up on this forum to get back in with the jeep community. I used to own a wrangler. But Had to sell it because I was moving, and it was geared low enough to where i couldn't get it above 55. (And this was redline in 5th gear)
Long story short, years later and multiple different cars later. I found myself in Need of a vehicle. I bought this 96 ZJ from my brother for 600 bucks, (I knew what I was getting into) He ran it out of oil twice, (still runs, fixed the oil leak last week). He never serviced the transmission, so that is shot. And someone backed into his passenger side door 3 years ago, that he took the insurance money and never fixed. (fixing that next weekend.)
So, long story short, it needs "a little" work. But it's a jeep so, it won't die. I have most of the stuff back to square one, and then it's time to upgrade!
But first, I need to find that STUPID vaccuum leak, fix the door, and the transmission!
Then after the mechanical, is to do the HID upgrade so I can see better at night!
