First time poster long time stalker

I grew up in a Cherokee household, I was brought home from the hospital in an '87 with lift and tires respectively. I learned to drive in a Cherokee and I learned mechanics from my dad in the same. I always wanted one for myself and I finally got one after many many vehicle identity crisis swaps. I unfortunately did not find one bone stock like we wanted (the Missouri rust and 250k+ miles found them all) but I did find one that had received a complete make over, done the right way and decided to pay a little more for that. Totally worth it! 1999 XJ Classic, bulletproof 4.0L, 4.5" long arm kit, smittybilt bumpers and sliders, wheels and tires upgraded, rear locker, slip yoke eliminator, engine and tranny and exhaust system rebuilt with 140k original miles. She's a little rough around the edges but the good bones are there and it's perfect for my daily driver and to mess around in the woods with. Hunting, fishing and camping are always on the menu for us around here. I've been stalking this forum for years, already did some modifications of my own to it with help from this forum and finally decided it was time to become a contributing member, thanks for having me!
