Heyyo,
I picked up a 98 xj classic a few months ago, and this forum has already been super helpful.
Right off the rip my jeep died after being stuck in traffic on a warm day - pushed it to the side of the road and a few click later found that unplugging the KPS and letting it sit for a min before plugging it back in would get me home.
Last weekend some helpful threads here walked me though swapping my transmission - about 8 hours all together and its back using itself down the street.
Now I just need to get rid of some clunks, most everything rubber under the truck looks shot. Most of it looks easy to replace, sway bar bushings are first on the list.
Is there any way to goop up the engine mounts (maybe a window sealer) to buy me some time before replacing those? Probably a discussion for another thread.
Anyways this place seems like an awesome resource, hopefully making it relatively painless to keep this thing running for another 100K
