and I figured I'd just jump right into the whole Jeep thing!
My Dad picked this ugly thing up for cheap from a co-worker. I was never into lifted 4x4's but I do like station wagons, my DD is a Honda Accord wagon. Well after he handed me the keys and said "go for a ride in the field", I was hooked. So much so that I bought it from him. haha. It's pretty rough but I like it.

Its a fun toy, hit some trails last week in it. Gas mileage is worse than my 86 C10 which sucks but thats the price you pay for toys, right?

Welcome from Wisconsin. Your right the gas mileage does suck. Worse than my "94 C10 blazer, my "94 Explorer, and '01 Yukon XL. Which is why I used to buy 4 banger beaters for my work car. I would actually save $1600-$1800 a year in gas money doing that. Also why my '91 XJ has only 70,000 miles on it right now.
nice Jeep..agreed on the gas..I went from an '02 GP to this so it was a big drop for me but I guess it comes with the territory..and my commute is 92 miles round trip haha..will be getting a gas miser soon for it but still savin up..My XJ, which is all stock yet, gets about an avg of 20mpg if I keep it in the 65-68 range..better than some I guess...GP got 32@65 haha..eesh

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been enjoying the Jeep on and off road the past few weeks. It dwarfs all the eco-cars in the office parking lot lol.

Lovin it.
