Hey Bart, Dan here. Great looking rig you have there. Can you post some under-bonnet pics? I'd love to have a Turbo-Diesel Jeep. Have you upped the boost level at all?

Thanks guys.
Most XJ's over here came with D35's in the back. The Chrysler axles are as rare as hens teeth, hence its still got the Dana unit.
Looking to do a 4.10 re-gear with the axles from a 2.5 litre gas XJ. They somtimes came with Chrysler axles, over here, so keeping my fingers crossed. Only other option is to do a "Super 35" conversion, with Yukon (or similar) shafts.
The Diesel engine is a little under powered, really, but the manual transmission helps. It puts out about 140hp (236 ft lbs) and is very tourquey at low revs. Get it in the right gear, and itt'l drive right through your house. It does most of the muddy stuff on tickover.
Dan, I will take some under bonnet pics for ya, but its a little muddy under there Its an Italian "VM" Diesel engine, usualy found in boats. Not done any engine mods, as they are known as a notoriously weak unit, so dont really wanna push my luck.
Just found one under bonnet pic, from my album. Its not great, so I'll do some more when I get the chance.
Cheers

First off, a greetings!
Secondly I gotta say your XJ makes me quite jealous and really want one even more. (Still trying to get one for myself but figured this might be a good place for info and all in addition to jeepforums.)
