Default damn another new one

howdy, nOob from middle TN

looking to oh *gasp* lift my 1998 xj and go offroad
picked it up last year for 2,500 and it was a bone stock rust free grocery getter

thinking of a Rustys off road 3 inch aal

and was thinking with this lift would it be possible to put the bb add a spacer and shackle with this lift or would it be a bad idea and only asking for trouble in the long run with stacking the two lifts together

oh and not completely new to the forum thing, just new here

and i have trolled around and havent seen this question asked yet so... noing for not searching first

i had that setup on my old xj and worked well... just remember a sye and driveshaft should be added to anything over 4" of lift... also new trackbar and lower control arms to make it ride and flex better... after 4", it costs alot more.
it was a good setup and i am going to do it again.

so just ordering the 3 inch lift and the bb kit will not work,

what extras will i need, its a sye and driveshaft mandatory with that set up?

3" with 2" bb will work fine you just have to upgrade your shocks, brake lines, track bar, lower control arms, sway bar, and sye w/ a driveshaft... i did it and it ran great on and off road....
as for the aussie, it works in the dana 30 fine... plenty on here have done it. pm buck, he will tell you all you need to know about aussie's... as he has both axles locked with aussies
