Default completely new here and hunting for trails in the great lakes region!

Bought my first Jeep this past weekend, I traded it for a 2002 VW Passat. It is a '97 Cherokee Country. I wish I knew all the options, but I will have to slowly figure them out, things like diff ratio. The Jeep may or may not have an aftermarket header, I know I have a CEL caused by bank 1 O2 sensor.

I am in Northwest Indiana, close to the dunes, Chicago, Gary, etc..

I know a couple of small places to offroad a bit but they are small and get boring real quick. Actually I took it out yesterday and I get a big creak coming from the right rear when going over big mounds with one side of her.

If anyone could contibute to those questions, that would be great. otherwise i am really enjoying my new DD, and I don't want to mess her up too bad, but I do want to have some fun with her.

No, but if you want to go out with a big group come on down to NAXJA's winterfest
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f63/wi...-oh-ten-22205/

there is nothing in the area, if you want a quick fix on wheelin there is an abandoned road in scherevile behind that golf course kinda near the police station

if you ever see me around wave me down
