Hey guys, been with the forum for about a month now and never got around to posting an introduction.
My name's is Steffan and I live in Spring Hill, KS, about 10 miles south of Olathe, KS and 25 miles southeast of Kansas City. I'm about to turn 20, a week from today in fact, and I am a student at JCCC and plan to attend KU to finish off my degree in Chemical Engineering. Currently I'm still staying at home with my parents but I have plans to move into a house in the Overland Park area in the next couple weeks, hopefully before my birthday
I'm new to the Jeep and wheeling scene but definitely not new to car customization. I previously was a speed demon and loved camaros (still do) I owned a 98 z28 that I modded out the *** to push ~412rwhp but I spun a bearing and it torn the entire engine apart. I started to look some new projects for camaros/firebirds and after a couple months of not finding anything to my liking I settled upon purchasing a 99 XJ out of Excelsior Springs, MO.
Like I said, new to jeeping but that doesn't stop me. I plan to do a lot to my new jeep to make it a tough mudder and I especially like the safari look so that will go with it. It is also a DD so I can't go too extreme with it, maybe down the road.
The XJ:
99 Sport 4 Door
4.5" Skyjack Lift (came with it)
35" BFG T/K
Shackle Relocation
New Shackles
Trimmed front fenders
Folded rear
Pioneer 7" Headunit
Kicker speakers all around
Replaced headliner
SYE (not installed yet, sometime this week)
FST headlights (waiting on order to arrive)
That's about it. I have a build thread up but I haven't posted much to it yet because I haven't had time to get all my pictures up and post to the thread, lots of progress so far and plenty more to do!
Live near Olathe, KS area? Drop me a PM, I'd love to meet up and make some friends with other jeepers around here! I also love helping out on installs if i have the time!
