Back After a few years

So, back in 2011 I bought an '88 XJ 4 door for a few hundred Bux. Did some work to it, 4" lift, and some tires. And sold it in 2013 for $3800. Im a Canadian soldier, and I was posted so.. some toys got sacrificed.

Well, its 2018, and My son is getting into dirt bikes and quads, He is only 6 so I naturally had to get a bike to ride with him.. and NONE of that would fit in my VW Sportwagen.. Ergo... 1989 XJ Sport 2 Door.

The 89 has only 230,000 original Km on it. Rust free, and was from the original owner. Quite a sweet deal, all well maintained, and documented... all for only $1700 CDN. so like $250 USD.

Its gonna need the usual, Brakes, bushings, and tires. Which gives me an opportunity to upgrade.

I now live on Vancouver Island, on the west coast, so there is LOTS of wheeling to be done, along with camping, and dirt biking.

Wish me luck on round two of my XJ Experience.

You and I had similar beginnings. I had a 1996, 6" lift, tires, locked, armor etc. I joined the army a year later and realized it wasn't practical...and the army wouldn't ship it to Europe where I was getting stationed. Fast forward 10 years, here I am with a 1999 Limited. Welcome, from one new guy to another.
