I just acquired a 89 Comanche from a farmer for nothing but what it took to haul it home. No rust, runs and drives great, small cosmetic problems but thats it. Im looking to possibly do some updates to the interior and front clip but Im new to the JEEP world. Any advice on where to look or what to do would be appreciated, Thanks.

welcome! this site is more geared towards cherokee's, not saying there isnt any good info here. but comancheclub.com is a site specifically for comanche's. check it out.

i envy you very much it is my goal in life to find a comanche that isn't 2wd or destroyed as all of the ones in my area are one or the other

Thanks for the tip about comanche club. Since this is for cherokees, I've seen that the front ends look very similar to the comanche. Are the parts interchangeable?

Welcome to CF. The bodies are the same from the windshield forward, and the front suspension/axles are the same. The engines/trans/t-cases are the same too.
